Location: Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA), Lackland & Randolph AFB

Position: Registered Nurse - Family Practice (Randolph Clinic)

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing from a college or university accredited by NLNAC or CCNE.
Experience: At least 3 years post-graduation nursing experience, with a minimum of 24 months within the last 48 months in a primary care clinic setting.
Knowledge/Skills: Extensive knowledge in various nursing fields including pediatric, adolescent, adult, obstetrics, and geriatric care. Proficient in the nursing process, disease management, pharmacological treatments, and computer operations including medical records.

Licensure/Registration: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities:
Coordinate and optimize patient care across different healthcare settings.
Ensure compliance with medical and nursing standards.
Perform physical exams, administer medications, and conduct health histories and various medical procedures.
Supervise and direct other healthcare professionals, ensuring high standards of care.
Engage in health promotions, counseling, and patient education.
Manage emergency situations with prompt response to adverse symptoms.
Maintain accurate documentation and perform research to support improved patient outcomes.
Operate and monitor specialized medical equipment.
Participate in training and orientation of new staff.
Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 0730 – 1630.
9-hour shifts, including a 1-hour unpaid lunch, not to exceed 40 hours per week.
